The Truffle Hunting at Meteora is a unique experience, highly awarded and praised in reviews, which you can enjoy during the Carnival long weekend in Meteora, specifically on March 2 and 3, 2025.

The Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom Museum has ensured that this activity is not only one of the top attractions in the region but also one of the most outstanding experiences in the country. It brings together nature, gastronomy, and culture in a way like no other.

What does Truffle Hunting include?

1. Truffle hunting with specially trained dogs.

2. Mushroom tasting 

3. Cooking and lunch of truffle pasta in the forest, accompanied by fine wines and beverages

4. Visit and guided tour to the Museum

Truffle hunting is available for organized groups and schools, while private truffle hunting can also be arranged.

You can experience Truffle Hunting at Meteora all year round. For individual visitors, the Museum organizes scheduled Truffle Hunts on the following dates:
