Collaborations & Partnerships of Meteora Museum

The adequate response to the museum’s objectives requires multilateral partnership with scientific and local institutions.

The collaboration of these institutions within the Museum, ensures the validity of the knowledge provided, but also the effective contribution to the problem solution of the natural environment, particularly in the wider area of Pindus and Meteora.

The museum has already signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Athens and is under negotiations with other Universities, like the one of Ioannina and Thessaloniki.

It is our first priority to work with other Natural History Museums in Greece and Europe, as well as the development of special relations with similar Mushroom Museums abroad.

Finally, there is a cooperation with specialists, for the development of special activities in the Museum (people with special abilities, etc.).
