“Photographer of the Month - Photographer of the Year”

1. Every visitor has the right to send us a photograph taken from the Museum either by email (info@meteoramuseum.gr), direct message on Instagram, or message on the Facebook page. Each message must be accompanied by their personal information (name, email, and phone).
2. Residents of Greece have the right to participate, while Museum employees, as well as first-degree relatives and spouses, are excluded.
3. Each visitor has the right to participate with only one photo per month. However, in case someone wins the "Photographer of the Month" award, no further participation is permitted. 
4. People who have visited the museum in a previous period have also the right to participate in the competition. Their photo can participate in a contest of the month that they will choose.
5. Photographs, as well as the names of nominees, are posted on Museum's Facebook page. Especially for June, the Contest will run on the Museum's Instagram page (@meteoramuseum).
6. Method of  Winner Choice. Each one of our Facebook followers can vote by liking the photo they like the most. The winning photo is the one that will receive the most likes and that's how the "Photographer of the Month" emerges.

8. The voting for the photo of the Month lasts until the 10th of the following month (ex. for June, we vote until the 10th of July). After that date, we cannot vote for this month.
9. Method of Winner Choice for the "Photographer of the Year". The photos that will be selected during the 12 months that the contest lasts, will compete against each other for a month, again on the Museum's Facebook page, in order to be selected the "Photographer of the Year".
   
10. Participation in the contest means that the Museum is granted the right to use your photograph.
    
11. Awards. Each month, the winner "Photographer of the Month" receives as a gift a family card for free entry to the Museum worth € 25, as well as, gifts from the museum shop worth € 50.
12. Awards. The Photographer of the Year will receive as a gift a Sony W800 Compact camera 20.1MP that is offered by the company “Perkas – Electronet” in Trikala, to which we are very grateful.
13. The Museum may, at its sole discretion, cancel any participation that is considered an illegal promotion technique, fraud, or unfair interference by the participant or a third party in general.
    
14. The Museum shall not be liable in the event of any technical reason that makes it impossible to obtain and register membership in the system of Instagram. In any case, the responsibility of the Museum will be limited to acts or omissions due to deceit or gross negligence and in no case extends to accidental events or events of force majeure.
15. Publicity. The terms of the contest have been posted on the official website of the Museum (https://meteoramuseum.gr/).
16. Personal Data. The Organizer maintains a file of personal data of the participants of the contest until the nomination of the winners and redemption of their prize. After that, they are destroyed.
17. The Museum has the right to modify these terms and conditions, including the duration, by updating this information through its website.
18. Applicable Law - Jurisdiction. These terms are governed by and supplemented by Greek law. Any dispute regarding the Competition, which may arise in the future, is submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Trikala.
19. Participation in the competition implies the unconditional acceptance of these terms.
20. Regarding Instagram: a) This promotion is not being conducted or promoted or supported by Instagram. b) With your participation it is confirmed that Instagram is released from any responsibility for this action.
