In an article in the newspaper ESTIA OF KYRIAKIS, the Director of the Museum, Mr. Nikos Pallas, refers to the visitation of the museums of the Greek Region, the problems they face, and the prospects that exist.

As Mr. Pallas says, "If a museum, for example, operates with an outdated perception for many decades, that it is a simple venue for the exhibition of objects of any character, where the visitor will simply navigate through the space and get at least some information about it, then it is certain that its visitation will be constantly decreasing and its future will be disastrous."

He then notes how museums can increase their attendance, detailing the four strategic choices museums should make.

It's a worthy read article.
